### How many guests does Casa La Vida sleep?

Up to 12 guests, or 14 when the group includes small children, in six en-suite bedrooms: five with king beds and one with two queens. The nightly rate covers the whole villa.

### Where in Punta Mita is it?

In La Punta Estates, on the oceanfront inside the gated Punta Mita resort, looking across the Bay of Banderas to Puerto Vallarta.

### Which staff are included?

A general manager, guest services manager, concierge, head butler and butler team, executive chef and kitchen team, housekeeping manager and team, and maintenance manager and team, plus 24-hour gated security. Service hours are 8 am to 10 pm.

### Are meals included?

The chef and kitchen team cook three meals a day plus snacks, and that service is included. Groceries and drinks are charged at cost, against a deposit of US$180 per person per day; whatever is not spent is returned to you.

### What taxes and fees are added to the nightly rate?

16% Mexican IVA tax and a 10% service fee are added to the nightly rate. A security deposit equal to one night's rate is also held. Gratuities for the staff are at your discretion.

### What are the deposit, payment and cancellation terms?

For 2027 stays: one night's rate confirms the villa; the balance is due 60 days before arrival. Cancel more than 60 days before arrival for a 100% refund; within 60 days there is no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

### Can the staff stay on later in the evening?

Yes, with 48 hours' notice. Extra service hours after 10:30 pm are US$75 per staff member per hour, with a minimum of two butlers and one cook, and service ends by 2 am at the latest.

### What is the Club Punta Mita access fee?

A one-time fee per person for stays of up to 30 days: US$50 for adults and teenagers (13+) and US$30 for children aged 5 to 12, each plus 16% VAT and a 15% service charge. Children under 5 are free. Tennis, pickleball, the fitness center and golf are charged separately.

### Does the villa have backup power?

Yes. Casa La Vida has its own power plant, so air conditioning, the kitchen and Wi-Fi keep running through any outage.

### Is there a gym?

Not in the villa. Club Punta Mita's fitness facility is available for an additional fee, and a private trainer, yoga or pilates instructor can come to the house on request.

### When can we see whales?

Humpback whales are in the Bay of Banderas from roughly November to April and are often visible from the villa. The concierge can book a whale-watching boat.

### How far is the airport?

Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is about 45 minutes by car. The concierge arranges private transfers.
